Berries

Berries are foraged by Gatherers along with onions, roots, and mushrooms as a wild food source. They tend to spawn near mature trees, necessitating the Gatherer's Hut be placed within an existing forest or next to a Forester's Lodge.

A well-placed Gatherer's Hut with educated Gatherers can collect 500-600 Berries every year, making them a good food source for the first few years on Hard difficulty.

Along with food, in later years, Berries can be used by a Tavern to brew Ale.
